From the young men who had longed to be China's first weekly news report, they now hold the track as “independent journalists” and vow to keep the investigative journalists at 60 years of age.

The New Weekly, the Voice, has been re-constituted into the provincial capital of the Hubei-Bien Brigade. A paper-based announcement of a change of system that would blow through the time dust in a flash, and I was reminded of the hot, heartless media days that were 20 years ago.

Seven issues of the weekly newspaper are published

It was the golden age of traditional paper media and the best time for China to investigate the brutal growth of news and to be honest.

On 26 October 2004, the news media, the heavy-pound newspaper The New Week, launched by the media, under the leadership of the senior official, the core journalist Zhao Shilong, the Southern Weekend. We gathered the top investigative journalists in China, in a warm blood, and took the vow of a determined effort to build China's first weekly news.

This hot, first-heart slogan, which is now in the press every issue, is a belief and a glory for all of us.

The launch began with a new edition of the newspaper, which created a network of in-depth news products covering the country, with simultaneous news stations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi ' an and Chengdu ' s five core cities. I have the honour to serve as the station chief of the newspaper Chengdu, which is staffed by two full-time journalists, the Group of the Voice ' s simultaneous placement of professional advertising and distribution officers, a well-organized team with a clear division of labour, and only to discover the truth about the real people for the sake of deep south-west.

The new weekly, the new one, is so fierce and so forth. The entire population was deeply involved in the investigation of the race track, and the most expected news reports in the country were the most popular, the most demanding, and the most important stories.

But fate will come to an end with regret: this newspaper, which contains the ideals of countless media, was launched on 26 October 2004 and suspended on 8 December, 45 days short, with only seven issues, and stopped and stopped in haste. A paper-by-leave announcement has been made to allow a group of journalists to travel to their ideal place to stop on their way to their dreams.

The short but brief period of the New Week, 30 years of professional life, and a return to a career, has always been the most precious and memorable chapter of my mind. So far, the good business story is that the sound is not bad, it's only news.

The group was fully equipped with a team of people to develop the new laptops, each of whom was a manufacturer and operator; Journalists who travel on covert missions and cross-provincial interviews can fly without a train and are fully assured that first-line journalists will travel to the truth and fearless.

It was the best time for paper, and it was the brightest time for a professional journalist. Even in a short seven-issue format, with hard work and a line of support, the monthly income of journalists is easily broken, with a generous and pure initial commitment.

Even when newspapers are suspended and long waiting periods are in place, the group continues to pay the full basic salary. We have not stopped interviewing, we have not dropped the pen, we have insisted on making simulations, we have continued to grind the manuscripts, we have been left with countless hard-working in-depth reports, and we have failed to end up with a printout that will forever be sealed in the media's database, and we have become an unheard of news for a generation.

After a long period of six months, the New Weekly completely terminated the initial placement of the in-depth investigation and the original team was disbanded.

It is a warmer story that the media never failed a group of dreamers and planned three proper diversions for all the authors: first, a high level of severance compensation, which I received at the time, was nearly $10,000; Second, diversion to other press platforms under the Group ' s umbrella; Third, they are on standby for repositioning of the newspaper.

In 2007, the long-silent edition of the New Week was reborn, but it was long overdue and was no longer in the air. It completely abandoned the original in-depth investigation of "Being China's First Weekly News" and removed its sharpness and its sharp edge, turning it into a weekly Story and Juche Digest, with a new positioning of "dialogue with the Wise".

The re-edited newspaper is no longer at the front line, no more digging into the truth, no more following the investigation, but only a tact of kindness and philosophy. Two newspapers, the same name, are two completely opposites of life, two distinct segments of life. The hot blood of our researcher, The New Week, was permanently set in the short 45-to-7 editions of 2004.

In my six months as station chief, I have not produced much of a single-story story, because of the large number of in-site management issues. But this experience of pursuing dreams together is long gone into the bone marrow and into the heart.

Independent journalists have not changed their minds

I was so eager to see the Southern Weekend, the home-based top-heavy news pole, that I had also taken the initiative to call the then Director of the Department of Public Information, Xiao Feng, to seek opportunities to join the coalition. I regret to have given up this opportunity just because the Southern Weekend site is full and because of the fact that it requires the competitor to be based in Guangzhou, where Chengdu will have difficulty adapting to the high-intensity, fast-paced life of the city on the front line.

All the regrets of life will eventually be fulfilled in another way. On a chance occasion, I read the Law and Order Morning (later renamed Rule of Law Weekend) at the newspaper stand by the director of the Media Daily Law. The sharpness, attitude, depth of the newspaper, which resembles the popular Southern Weekend, is more in line with my final ideal of “doing China's First Weekly News”.

I had the courage to call the newspaper to answer the previous Director of the Department of Public Information, Zheng Fei. I heard that I had the will to join the Rule of Law Morning Post, and he told me immediately and frankly: “The door to the Rule of Law Morning Post is always open to Wang Gan-soon, and I will report to the editor-in-chief immediately. The blogger adds:

One word of approval, a sign of my suspended news ideals.

Today, in the encyclopedia of the Internet, almost all of the in-depth reports that mark me as the "Face of the God" were born in the two years of the Law and Order Morning. The authoritative weekly, which is published on Thursdays, continues my uncompleted news love in the New Week, and keeps my investigative journalist on the path of luminous heat.

There was no mobile Internet in that era, and the impact of the paper media was all on the face and the power of dissemination. Every issue of the newspaper is more powerful than a piece of the puzzle, and 95 per cent of my in-depth research work is steadily top three of the front pages of the news, with hard cores and real perspectives to stand up and investigate the news tracks.

On 13 August 2006, Anhui observed the Acetian column, The Journalist's Archives, and built a special documentary for me, The Survey Reporter Wang Ganzhu. The late-posted “Senior Journalist of the Rule of Law”, not a job-iding assessment, but the highest honour name within the newspaper, equivalent to the chief journalist, is the greatest recognition of my deep-earthed investigation and commitment to the truth.

Time is running out, 20 years of finger-pointing.

Most of my investigative colleagues who were travelling with me to The New Week, with similar news ideals, had already lost their edges and been reduced to a level of peace. Some are committed to traditional media, others turn to the news industry, are plagued by years and are holding hands with the aspirations of young people.

Me alone, the first of them, the first of them, and the first of them.

From the young men who wanted to be China's first weekly news report to the day who stood up to the track and vowed to make investigative journalists 60-year-old dreamers. The change of time, the change of media, the fall of paper media, the rise of new media, and the loss of my identity as an official journalist, have never lost my original interest in and commitment to investigating journalists.

Without institutional radiance and official titles, I still work as an “independent journalist” to cultivate truth, uphold justice, record the world and convey the conscience.

Half-life pen, life-pray. The youth had not failed in their ideals, and they remained devoted to their lives. Even with the change of time and the change of course, I have a constant interest in news, truth, justice and so on.
