The other day, the B-B guy died and filmed the bridge.
In the video, six bucks on the street could eat a bowl, barbershop was no business, and the boss went out to find another job. The quick-slice job is to earn 2.6 a night, and it takes days to finish, and the part-time job is not always available. A young man who works here on a casual basis says to Brother Feng that being humiliated is for sure.
Brother Feng shot a part of the horsebridge.
A short, day-end film by another blogger on B station was also turned over these days, and the other part was taken.
The interview was with Aunt Hu, 53 years old, from Hebei Qin, the island. The interviewer said she should have rested at that time and she replied that she was a farmer and had not retired.
She's in the film about what she saw.
At the bridge, the man who's been packing up is called the boss.
Some employers use their power to send their own work, pick out the right person to work, and make a move, and promise to do so in the words of the woman.
Agreed, work for a few more days.
If you disagree, you'll be told not to go the next day.
She ran into it once. According to her memories, the man had taken her with her helmet and tweezers and took her to work in a building.
The basement was dark, she was walking in front, and the man was holding her from behind. He went to a black place and he pushed her against the wall.
She got anxious and gave him a mouth, and said, "You do this again, I'll call the police. The government has been working on the issue of the human rights of women.
I guess it's not very unusual at the bridge, but it's hard to know outside. Why it happens and why it cannot be heard begins with the way it works at the end of the day.
At the Mabai Bridge, the foreman of the job is in very little power, but very specifically, who are these places given today and who are they called tomorrow.
The day is over, the day is over, the day is over, tomorrow's work is waiting again, and it's almost entirely up to the foreman to call you to work.
The foreman had to make it difficult for a woman to speak without threatening to call her the next day.
Aunt Hu's age is a woman who can't find a living.
Journalists at the Mabai Bridge have seen the services agency declare 53-year-olds to be 47 years old and only 45 years old. She would have been able to refuse either of the foremen who would have asked her to work.
Such matters need to be known to the outside world, either by the person who is in the field and who happens to be willing to speak, or by the person who calls the police and is reported to the press. The results of the web search are not common in either case.
Aunt Hu was shot this time, by accident.
According to the filmmaker, this was a final university assignment. Aunt Hu was late that day and took the shot, giving her $25 an hour. On a day of work, she was on a site and had no time to talk to the camera about it.
Even fewer people call the police.
In public reports, I have retrieved two such incidents, all of which were much more serious than Aunt Hu.
One case was in Changsha, where in 2024 a 65-year-old temporary security guard was sexually assaulted by the security chief who was on duty and on leave, and later opened a criminal case, and the captain was arrested.
The other was in Shenzhen, where in 2014, Ms. Hou, a 45-year-old cleaning officer, was summoned by the Assistant Director of the Department of Management for lack of cleaning of the windows, and later told the journalist that the person had raped her.
Perhaps it is so serious that the person concerned would feel worth the risk of going to the police.
The first time the security guard in Changsha had not told the truth, the police officers had only mediated indecent assault, the captain had paid $1,500, been detained for one night and returned to work the following day. This is how the victims are able to tell the whole truth and facilitate the criminal proceedings.

Is it really a problem for the victim to call the police? In both cases, the victims themselves, and even their relatives, lost their jobs.
Ms. Shenzhen ' s son, who was a security guard in the same district, was dismissed after 10 days, and the Department of Management stated that it was an internal adjustment.
After the woman security guard in Changsha had called the police, she and her companion had been notified of the company ' s dismissal, which the company had stated to the public that it did not.
The head of the company later stated that she was a temporary worker and that she had signed a labour contract.
The employer is obliged by law to prevent and suppress sexual harassment of women, by establishing regulations, establishing complaints channels and investigating and prosecuting them.
In these incidents, the security guard, who was indeed a company, was ultimately dismissed.
Aunt Hu's work is foreman's work, and she is her employer, often without any clarity. She could have called the police or brought a case against the person in court, but both were too hard work.
She also had difficulty finding a unit to deal with. I found a unit like this and I don't know what to do with it.
In the day-end market, neither can there be any evidence of retaliation if it is actually for calling the police.
The foreman did not call her, and it didn't look like it was alive that day, and the bridge was often not alive.
She was not called one day, and she couldn't tell why she was doing it herself, much less show it to anyone else. Most of the foremen know each other and are offended by one, and the impact may be more than one life.
So Aunt Hu was just warning each other and then calling the police, this time she didn't. This is probably the greatest resistance that she can do without losing her livelihood.
At the bridge, it's true that older people are more vulnerable to the risk of survival.
The doctorate of the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Qinghua has been returning to the bridge for eight years to make a dailies, and he wrote that the job is mainly based on appearance and eyes, and that the older people are expected to report their age.
Aunt Hu also had to understate her reporting age to be “supposed”.
But when the foreman picked out the woman who looked good, she was not spared because she was old.
Older people do not mean they are necessarily “safe”.
As Sinerian wrote, the women workers here prefer to go out with each other and remind each other where they work how to keep their strength and how to handle the foremen.
A green sun Qing, a Lee, would warn the people around them against unintentioned foremen, who would come to the foreman to play round for them.
Dealing with the foreman and preserving the physical strength have become the experience of women workers.
Since experience has been gained, it may have happened more than once. Most of the women knew, just not who they could tell.
After that mouth, Aunt Hu was alive the next day, not on the film.
The foreman still has a handbag. Do they know that the foreman is going to trade his pie for a woman?
What did the male companions around them see, what did they do?
We are not aware of these.
But every day at 5 a.m., the roadside of the Mabai Bridge is filled with people waiting to live, and women are part of it, just like men.
But in this bridge where everyone is struggling to survive, some people do not treat others as human beings.
