Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Commission, please come out and take control! Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Card, please have some face and do not tarnish Chongqing's tourism image!
Some anchors, under the guise of "Chengyu Cultural and Tourism Card", intentionally create a false impression that the "Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Card" is an official product strongly promoted by the Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Commission. The promotional materials list numerous projects and falsely claim a high total value. The same store is split and repeatedly included in the list, creating a false impression that "hundreds of attractions can be played". However, there are hidden traps, such as only a limited number of attractions can be chosen, and popular projects during peak seasons are locked.
The live broadcast room makes exaggerated claims, intentionally misleading tourists from other places. The cultural and tourism project for the benefit of the people has become a tool for exploiting the reputation of a city.
Is this kind of marketing tactic not worthy of severe investigation and rectification?
Chongqing people speak directly and do not beat around the bush. We have been blowing the wind of the Jialing River for decades and have never supported making money by deceiving tourists.

Today, this article aims to expose the truth about the "Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Card" and let all tourists and locals see clearly
- do not let a few bad apples ruin the reputation of Chongqing's cultural and tourism industry, which has been built up over decades.
Chongqing is a city with a vast and majestic landscape, rich cultural heritage, and a unique Jianghu atmosphere.

Why is the Three Gorges Museum not called the Chongqing Museum or the Yu Prefecture Museum? Because the Three Gorges culture is the top-level cultural heritage given to Chongqing by nature, it is grand, inclusive, and can withstand the test of time, representing the true cultural heritage of Chongqing.
However, it is ironic that Chongqing's cultural and tourism industry, which has top-notch natural scenery, cultural heritage, and traffic, is now filled with similar cards on short video platforms, making a mess and full of tricks.
What's even more annoying is that this is not a problem unique to Chongqing
- many places in the country have cultural and tourism projects that have become a quick way to make money, using the guise of "government support" and "benefiting the people" to deceive tourists and trample on the reputation of the city.
Today, we must thoroughly expose the tricks of this card and bring out the hidden pitfalls of similar cultural and tourism projects across the country
- this is not a benefit to the people, but a blatant exploitation of tourists and a waste of the city's reputation!

01
Extreme verbal tricks: claiming "hundreds of projects can be played", but in reality, it's 16 choose 1, 30 choose 9
All live broadcast rooms and short videos use the same brainwashing rhetoric: "Thousands of yuan in value! Hundreds of attractions in Chengyu can be played! One card to play Chengyu!"
Many tourists from other places are attracted by this statement and place an order. However, the real rules are hidden in the small print:
* S rights: 16 projects, only one can be chosen
* A rights: 30 projects, only 9 can be chosen
That is to say: the so-called hundreds of projects, thousands of yuan in value, you can only play 10 projects from start to finish.
The rest of the items are just for show, a false list!
Businesses list a long list of items, intentionally not reminding "choose one, lose one, fixed quota, cannot play all", using the cognitive difference of ordinary people to create a "universal play illusion".

This tactic is not unique to Chongqing, many cultural and tourism year cards in the country have similar operations: the promotional page lists dozens of scenic spots, but after consumers pay, they are informed that popular scenic spots can only be booked once a year, and holidays are restricted.
02
Crazy fake listing: repeating the same store, artificially inflating the value
In order to make the "thousands of yuan in value" look real, this card uses the most disgusting tactic: the same brand, the same industry, the same experience, multiple branches are repeatedly included.
For example:
- Naylbao Children's Paradise has 8 branches listed, including Chongqing Guanghua, Dayu City, Yinxiang City, and Shidai Tianjie, as well as multiple branches in Chengdu, all counted as separate high-priced projects, with a single store price of 448 yuan. In essence, it's just the same indoor paradise, with a different address counted as a new project.
- Tongnian Partner Naughty Castle has three branches listed, with the same kind of children's paradise, repeatedly counted to lengthen the list.
- The whole field karting has multiple branches listed.
Ordinary people can't possibly go to multiple branches of the same brand in a year, but businesses know that no one, especially people from other places, will go to repeat play, so they intentionally repeat the listing, just to artificially inflate the total value and create a high cost-performance illusion!

This kind of fake listing is common in cultural and tourism projects across the country: some border tourism passes list multiple restaurants on the food street as separate cultural and tourism experience points, and package simple viewing as a net red check-in point, in order to expand the project list and artificially increase the number of projects.
This is a typical case of data inflation and misleading consumers!
03
Completely fake pricing: using the original price that no one buys, to deceive ordinary people
The entire card promotion claims "total value over 10,000 yuan", but insiders know: all projects are calculated based on the most expensive original price, completely detached from the real market price.
* Naylbao's original price is 448 yuan, but the actual daily group purchase price is 160-220 yuan
* Meland's original price is 298 yuan, but the market price is around 100 yuan
* Foshan Xia Gorge Drifting's original price is 596 yuan, but the real market price is just over 100 yuan
* Tandao Factory and Children's Theater are all fake priced at nearly 500 yuan high
Only a few cold-door scenic spots have real ticket prices.
In other words, the so-called "thousands of yuan in value" is just a number game played by businesses, not the real market value.

This kind of fake pricing tactic is common in the cultural and tourism circle: many local cultural and tourism year cards claim to have a total value of thousands of yuan, but the actual cost of buying tickets for the projects is very low, and most of the promotional value is just a fabricated digital bubble.
Some local cultural and tourism cards also greatly inflate the price of ordinary parks and experience projects, with a virtual premium of several times.
04
Seasonal disgusting tactics: all popular projects are locked during peak seasons, letting you play cold water, play loneliness
This is the most shameless operation: all popular water play projects during summer are not available from June to August.
* Foshan Xia Gorge Drifting: not available during peak season, only available after September, but the river water is icy cold in September, completely losing the meaning of drifting.
* Tongjing Hot Spring, Rongchuang Snow Field, and Ayi River: not available until September 21
* Xinbei Hot Spring: not available until October 1
The live broadcast room only promotes "including drifting, hot springs, and snow fields", but never mentions that they are not available during peak seasons.

Similar restrictions on play are common in cultural and tourism cards across the country: some ski year cards close the booking channel during peak seasons, and only open it after the ice and snow have melted; some coastal tourism cards set the sea-side projects during peak seasons as unavailable, and the customer service packages this restriction as a "peak avoidance benefit".
Is this a benefit to the people? This is a blatant deception of consumers!
05
Serious false propaganda: using the name "Chongqing Cultural and Tourism Card" to deceive tourists from all over the country
The entire network promotes "Chongqing, Sichuan, and Chengdu are all available", and many tourists from other places place an order, attracted by the "Chengyu scenery".
But the reality is: there are almost no natural scenery, regular scenic spots, or rights and interests in Sichuan and Chengdu!
The so-called Chengdu projects are just a few branches of children's playgrounds, and more than 90% of the rights and interests are concentrated in Chongqing's main city indoor children's venues.
There is no mutual benefit between Chengyu! There is no cross-city tourism benefit!

This kind of "name not matching the reality" cross-provincial cultural and tourism tactic is not uncommon: some cross-regional full-domain tourism passes claim to cover hundreds of scenic spots in multiple provinces and cities, but the core famous scenic spots are not included in the list, and most of the points are concentrated in a single city's suburbs; some Dianxi tourism passes promote checking in at Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La, but the hot core scenic spots are all excluded, and the remaining points are mostly cold-door shopping venues.
Locals can see through the tactic at a glance and basically won't buy it; only tourists from other places who trust the local cultural and tourism brand are easily misled.
06
Refund trap: not allowing full refund, with a hidden trap of 6.6 yuan
This is the most vicious and shameless ultimate harvesting tactic.
- The payment is a total price, but the background secretly splits it into two orders, the main card and the 6.6 yuan tourism card, which are combined and deducted, and the consumer is unaware.
- The refund is not synchronized, and the main card can be refunded, but the 6.6 yuan tourism card will not be automatically refunded, and the user needs to find the separate order and apply for a refund separately, and most people will directly lose this money.

- If the card is not used, and the user applies for a refund, the system will automatically determine that the rights and interests have been consumed, and many people have not gone to any scenic spots, but the system defaults to "rights and interests have been used once".
Similar refund disputes are common on cultural and tourism card complaint platforms: some users apply for a refund the next day after purchasing the cultural and tourism card, but the platform deducts a high handling fee on the grounds that opening the electronic card is considered activation; some tourists purchase a pass and do not use it, but when applying for a refund, the platform pushes the responsibility to each other, and in the end, only a part of the payment can be returned.
How many tourists originally came to the city with expectations, but before they even entered the scenic spot, they were already disgusted by this card.
07
The card even deceives locals, not sparing its own people
Don't think that only tourists from other places will be deceived, many Chongqing local families, attracted by the "official support" and "benefit to the people" name, place an order, but end up being deceived and angry.
A parent from Yubei District saw the promotion of "dozens of children's paradises can be played" in the live broadcast room, spent money to buy the card, but when booking the first one, the system prompted "this month's booking quota is full", and after waiting for three weeks, still couldn't get a booking, and only then realized that each hot children's venue only releases a few booking quotas every month, and the cardholders compete for a few positions, which is harder than buying a spring train ticket.

A user from Jiulongpo is even more pitiful, after buying the card, not a single right was exchanged, and when applying for a refund, the system automatically showed that the rights and interests had been consumed, and the customer service just pushed away the responsibility, saying "the system record cannot be changed", and no consumption voucher could be provided.
There is also an old man from Jiangjin who was cheated into buying the card, thinking that he could travel to Chengyu scenic spots for free, but after checking the rights and interests list, the nearest scenic spot was more than an hour's drive away, and the so-called "benefit card" eventually became a useless plastic card.
What's even more ironic is that the Chongqing cultural and tourism department had just reported two cases of travel agencies violating regulations: one sold a "pure play 4-day tour" for 749 yuan on a short video platform, but tourists were forced to pay additional fees for scenic spots and transportation when they arrived; another agency took people to a shopping store disguised as a "cultural transmission pavilion" without their consent.
Just as the chaos in the tourism industry was being rectified, this kind of card, under the guise of "cultural and tourism benefits", appeared everywhere, harvesting people. The city's reputation, which was just restored, was torn apart again.

Chongqing's Jianghu spirit has never relied on such deceitful tactics to support itself.
The face must be put on properly, the hot pot must be spicy enough, and cultural and tourism work should be done openly and honestly, without any hidden tricks.
The country has many cultural and tourism projects that are eager for quick success and dig pitfalls, but Chongqing should not follow suit.
Don't use the name "benefit to the people" to exploit tourists, and don't let tourists come to Chongqing and remember the disgusting card instead of the night view of Hongyadong.
Cultural and tourism benefits should first be sincere, and not think about how to make a few more dollars from tourists, but first engrave the word "sincerity" in the bone.
If you continue to play tricks, the people of Chongqing will not agree
- after all, no one wants their hometown to be disgraced by a few broken cards.
