01: 20-year-old Disabled Girl Forcibly Sent to Mental Hospital

On the morning of November 22, 2024, a group of over 20 people, including the street secretary and police station director, broke into Zhang Cuiying's "rescue house" in Fendou County, Chongqing. They beat Zhang Cuiying's sister, Zhang Cuijin, unconscious and took Zhang Jinbao away in an unlicensed ambulance.

After inquiring, Zhang Cuiying found out that her daughter was taken to Fendou County Mental Hospital.

On the night of November 30, Zhang Cuiying received a phone call from a relevant person, who said, "Do you want your daughter Zhang Jinbao or do you want money? Your request for Zhang Jinbao to have a kidney transplant is too high and too excessive. Please take care of yourself..."

02: Campus Bullying Leads to Left Kidney and Spleen Rupture

Let's go back 11 years!

It was a time that dragged Zhang Cuiying and her daughter into an abyss.

On March 13, 2013, Zhang Jinbao, a third-grade student at Xinjian Complete Primary School in Sanhe Street, Fendou County, was suddenly beaten by her classmate Dai Moufei in the classroom.

After being bullied, Zhang Jinbao showed symptoms of high fever, blood in her urine, and hematuria at school.

However, when Zhang Jinbao reported the incident to her teacher, Ren Mou, the school did not take it seriously and did not send her to the hospital for treatment.

Instead, Zhang Jinbao was warned by the teacher not to tell her parents about the incident.

The next day, Zhang Jinbao's condition worsened, and she could not get out of bed. Zhang Cuiying took her to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a ruptured left kidney and spleen.

Zhang Cuiying believes that the hospital's diagnosis proves that her daughter's condition was caused by Dai Moufei's beating.

03: A Young Girl Becomes a Disabled Person Unable to Take Care of Herself

In the following years, Zhang Jinbao was treated in various hospitals, including Fendou County People's Hospital, Chongqing Army Medical University New Bridge Hospital, and Chongqing Children's Hospital.

However, due to the high cost of treatment and other complex reasons, Zhang Jinbao was forced to leave the hospital or was driven out of the hospital after a short period of treatment.

In 2014, Zhang Jinbao underwent a kidney bladder mirror surgery at Chongqing Children's Hospital, which led to optic nerve damage and vision loss in both eyes, as well as severe memory loss and organ dysfunction.

Zhang Jinbao's condition has been diagnosed as: left kidney and spleen rupture, chronic nephritis, chronic severe pneumonia, chronic heart dysfunction, type 1 heart failure, optic nerve damage, vision loss, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other conditions.

Zhang Jinbao has become a disabled person unable to take care of herself, a burden on her family.

Zhang Cuiying attributes her daughter's condition to the school's dereliction of duty and the failure to provide timely treatment.

In 2018, Zhang Jinbao was issued a critically ill notice by the hospital.

In 2019, Zhang Jinbao was forced to leave the hospital and return home, where she has been bedridden ever since, relying on her mother and aunt for care.

Zhang Cuiying, who has been fighting for her daughter's rights for 11 years, is even more painful.

The pain of the mother and daughter is different, but they share a common trait: they cannot see a future.

Because of her petitions and fight for her daughter's rights, Zhang Cuiying has become a "thorn in the side" of relevant departments and personnel.

Perhaps in the eyes of some leaders, Zhang Cuiying is a "troublemaker" who disrupts local stability.

Due to her petitions, Zhang Cuiying was twice sent to a detention center, where she was detained for over two months.

According to Zhang Cuiying's Weibo post, during her detention, she was beaten by multiple inmates, suffered torture, and was forced to wear heavy foot shackles and handcuffs for over 20 days.

Zhang Cuiying said she was only released because the authorities did not want her to die in the detention center.

On October 1, Zhang Cuiying was intercepted by a group of personnel while in Beijing.

After being intercepted, Zhang Cuiying was beaten until she was unconscious and was detained in a "black jail" for over 20 days, where she was repeatedly beaten and tortured.

In recent years, Zhang Cuiying's request for her daughter to have a kidney transplant or receive corresponding compensation has been deemed "too high and too excessive" by relevant departments.

Due to her daughter's illness and her long-term fight for her daughter's rights, Zhang Cuiying has been impoverished and debt-ridden.

She has no money for medical treatment, no income, and no shelter from the wind and rain.

For 10 years, Zhang Cuiying, her daughter, and her sister have been living in a 20-square-meter "rescue house", relying on each other for warmth and living a humble life.

On December 21, 2024, Zhang Cuiying received a notice from the community residents' committee, asking them to move out of their home. The community will take legal action to recover the housing occupancy fees and water and electricity fees from 2013 to the present.

This notice of "forced relocation and fee recovery" has made Zhang Cuiying's already fragile heart even colder.

However, when Zhang Cuiying went to the Chongqing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau to report the situation, a staff member showed her a "report material" that claimed the government had provided her with 7,500 yuan in annual subsidies, an 80-square-meter house, and a monthly subsidy of 500 yuan.

Zhang Cuiying saw that the document was stamped with the Fendou County Civil Affairs Bureau's official seal.

Zhang Cuiying requested a copy of the document but was refused, with the reason being that it was a "top-secret document".
